Praying for my Hubby Day 1...

What an honor and blessing it is to be Sean Roark's wife.  I began praying for him from Head to Toe this morning.  Using Sharon Jaynes new book "Praying for Your Husband From Head to Toe, I began to fervently pray for him using the guide in the book.  Instantly, I began to get choked up.  Then realization occurred to me that I'd never ever prayed like that for him before.

Sure, I'd prayed canned prayers, and of course those good old 911 prayers when things weren't going so swimmingly.  THIS book tells you how to pray for your husband. THANK YOU SHARON JAYNES!  I will use this book over and over again.

You know, there's no greater honor, blessing or privilege than to be able to pray for my sweet Sean.  We've been married for 14 beautiful years.  Through our ups and downs there's one thing that has remained constant, God!  He's our rock and it's Him that we've built the foundation of our marriage upon.

So at least once or twice a week as I venture on through this book, I'll blog about experiences along the way!  You're invited to comment and chime in!

I thought it'd be appropriate on this blog to share with y'all about a journey Sean and I took that made our marriage even better.  This past Summer we both took the 5 Love Languages Quiz.  We found out what each others' love language was and started to speak it.  We prayed for each other and encouraged each other through gifts, scripture, and verbally!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for my sweet husband.  I thank you that you chose him just for me and that you orchestrated our meeting by divine appointment.  I pray today that you would bless him and keep him in all that he does.  Help him to know that he is loved not only by me, but by you.  I pray all these things in Jesus' Name-Amen
